Training on eTransport Applications to newly recruited MVIs (Motor Vehicle Inspectors) of Transport Department, Government of Tamil Nadu held on 22/09/2026.

An one day awareness Training was conducted to 47 newly recruited Motor Vehicles Inspectors Grade-II on 22nd September 2026 on the usage of eTransport applications, including Vahan, Sarathi, PUCC, NextGen eChallan, ITMS, and other related systems at the Conference Hall, Transport Department. The programme was organized as part of their induction training, based on the department’s request.
The training provided comprehensive guidance on the effective implementation and usage of eTransport applications in 147 RTO offices in the state. It aimed to equip the MVIs with the necessary knowledge and skills to process and deliver transport services digitally to citizens using the digital platforms developed by NIC Transport Informatics Division.
The training session was chaired by the Deputy Transport Commissioner and Nodal Officer, who also delivered the concluding remarks. During the session, details of the Vahan, Sarathi, PUCC, NextGen eChallan, ITMS, and other related systems, including application workflows and software features were explained. The participants’ queries were also addressed. The training was conducted by the Officials of NIC Tamil Nadu, Shri D. Eswaran, Senior Director (IT), Shri S. Sathyamoorthi, Senior Director (IT), Tmt. A. Rahamathunisa Begum, Director (IT), and Tmt. Jeevitha J, Joint Director (IT).
