Visit of Dr. Nipun Jindal, IAS, Director, Department of Digital Technologies and Governance

Dr. Nipun Jindal, IAS, Director, Department of Digital Technologies & Governance, Government of Himachal Pradesh, visited the National Informatics Centre – Tamil Nadu State Centre (NIC-TNSC) on 8th September 2025. He was accorded a warm welcome by the NIC-TNSC team.

In his address, Dr. Jindal expressed keen interest in understanding Tamil Nadu’s digital governance models and exploring opportunities to adopt replicable initiatives in Himachal Pradesh.

Project heads of NIC-TNSC presented key state-level digital initiatives, including Tamil Nilam, Taxation Software for Rural Development and Town Panchayats, Integrated Temple Management System, iCCMS, PICME, MSME Solutions, CAMS, and Social Welfare and University Applications.

These initiatives were highlighted for their role in workflow automation, data integration, and improved citizen–government interactions.

Dr. Jindal appreciated NIC Tamil Nadu’s contributions to digital transformation and expressed interest in future collaboration to replicate successful models in Himachal Pradesh. The visit concluded with a vote of thanks from NIC-TNSC officials.
