Visit of Shri Sandeep Kumar Singhal, ITS, DDG & HoG – Contract Governance Group (CGG), NIC Headquarters to NIC Tamil Nadu State Centre

Shri Sandeep Kumar Singhal, ITS, DDG & Head of Group – Contract Governance Group (CGG), NIC Headquarters, visited the National Informatics Centre – Tamil Nadu State Centre (NIC-TNSC) on 7th and 8th July 2025. He was warmly welcomed by Shri M. Kamalakkannan, DDG & SIO, along with ASIOs and staff members.

In his opening remarks, DDG & HoG (CGG) emphasized the importance of strengthening procurement mechanisms, addressing systemic challenges, and enhancing transparency and efficiency in operations.

Shri M. Kamalakkannan, DDG & SIO, TNSC, presented an overview of NIC Tamil Nadu’s key responsibilities, including implementation of state and central projects, ICT infrastructure maintenance, and capacity-building initiatives.

DDG & HoG (CGG) reviewed procurement processes, documentation, and email migration and contract compliance activities related to Zoho Email Services. The NIC-RSOC team briefed him on security operations, SLA compliance, and incident management.
