Visit of Director General, NIC to NIC Tamil Nadu State Centre

Shri Inder Pal Singh Sethi, Director General, NIC, visited the NIC Tamil Nadu State Centre, Chennai, on 5th April 2025 and interacted with officials from both the State and District Centres. Smt. Alka Mishra, DDG & State Coordinator, was also present on the occasion.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Shri M. Kamalakkannan, DDG & SIO, along with senior officers and staff of the State Centre. A detailed presentation highlighted key ICT initiatives, mission-critical e-Governance applications, innovative web and mobile services, data analytics platforms, and the extensive support extended by NIC District Centres to local administrations.

Director General, NIC appreciated the commendable efforts of the NIC Tamil Nadu team in advancing digital transformation and promoting citizen-centric governance. He shared valuable insights on improving scalability, efficiency, and replication of successful models in other States.

The visit concluded with an interactive session covering technical, administrative, and operational topics, followed by a tour of NIC facilities within the Rajaji Bhavan campus.

NIC Tamil Nadu officials expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Director General for his visit, encouragement, and continued support.
