Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 – Expert Talk on “e-Waste Management System”

As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign, an expert lecture on “e-Waste Management System” was organized by NIC Tamil Nadu on 29th September 2025.

Er. R. Shalini, Assistant Engineer, Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB), delivered the session through video conference.

In her address, the speaker highlighted the growing challenges and opportunities associated with e-waste, including its rapid increase in volume, economic potential, and environmental impact. She elaborated on the regulatory framework and policies governing e-waste management in India and stressed the importance of responsible disposal practices.

The talk provided valuable insights into practical aspects of segregation, recycling, and safe handling of electronic waste, raising awareness among participants about sustainable practices and the collective responsibility of citizens in protecting the environment.
