Report on the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Visit – PM-KISAN 21st Installment Release

The Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released the 21st installment of PM-KISAN at Coimbatore, transferring ₹18,000+ crore via DBT to 9.7 crore farmers nationwide. During the South India Farming Summit-25 at the Codissia Trade Fair Complex, 3,19,000 farmers received benefits.

NIC officials — Ms. Tulika Debnath, Shri K. Venkatesh, Shri Zaheer Abbas Siddiqui, Shri Kuldeep Meena and Mr. Krishnasamy — participated.

The Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu and other dignitaries attended, while agricultural experts such as Dr. Ramasamy, Mr. A.P. Karuppaiah, and Mr. P.R. Pandian joined via VC.

The Prime Minister felicitated ten progressive farmers and highlighted modernization, farmer welfare, and ICAR’s role in agricultural innovation.

Parallel events under the South India Natural Farming Summit were held across States/UTs, with 54 ICAR institutes participating through NIC’s secure VC network.

NIC provided complete ICT support for establishing the PMO Camp Office.
