Rashtriya Karmayogi Large Scale Jan Seva Programme at NIC, Tamil Nadu
The National Informatics Centre (NIC), Tamil Nadu successfully organized the Rashtriya Karmayogi Large Scale Jan Seva Programme under Mission Karmayogi, aimed at strengthening service orientation and citizen-centric governance among NIC officials.
The programme was conducted in five batches and concluded on 8 December 2025, covering officials from all 38 districts of Tamil Nadu. A total of 135 participants from NIC State and District Centres actively participated.
The sessions were facilitated by Karmayogi Master Trainers Shri K. Ganesh and Shri V. S. VijayNagu, and coordinated by Smt. Joyce R. Amirtharaj, State Training Coordinator.
The programme was held under the guidance of Shri Kamalakkannan M, State Informatics Officer, NIC Tamil Nadu, who emphasized NIC’s role in delivering citizen-centric digital services.
The training focused on Mission Karmayogi principles, service mindset, ethical public service delivery, inner motivation, and alignment of individual roles with national priorities.
Interactive discussions and experience sharing helped participants relate the concepts to real-life digital governance challenges.
The programme reaffirmed NIC Tamil Nadu’s commitment to capacity building, excellence in governance, and citizen-focused digital service delivery.
