Visit of Additional Secretary, DoLR, Govt. of India and Director of Survey and Settlement

Shri R. Anand, Additional Secretary, Department of Land Resources (DoLR), Government of India, along with Shri P. Madhusudhan Reddy, Director of Survey and Settlement (DOSS), Government of Tamil Nadu, visited NIC Tamil Nadu State Centre, Chennai, on 6th June 2025 to review the progress of land record modernization initiatives.

Shri M. Kamalakkannan, DDG & SIO, extended a warm welcome and briefed the delegation on NIC Tamil Nadu’s key contributions in the design, development, and implementation of the Tamil Nadu Land Records Management System. The presentation covered major modules such as Textual (Rural, Natham, Urban), Spatial (Collabland), the Government Land Records (GLR) Portal, and ‘Any Time Any Where’ e-Services.

The TNGIS Team also demonstrated spatial data services, highlighting geo-referencing using Collabland maps and Tamil Nilam data accessed through APIs.

DOSS emphasized that Tamil Nilam serves as the authoritative source for land records in the State, integrated across platforms like TNGIS, Agri Stack, and RBI Innovation Hub.
